| 28 Mar

The London Coffee Festival is back again with an abundance of eye-opening food and drink stalls, demonstrations and workshops. Here’s what you need to know about this year’s event.

The London Coffee Festival runs from the 6-9th of April and will be held at The Old Truman Brewery. The event celebrates the UK’s coffee culture and exists as the official launch of UK Coffee Week. Among the 250 stalls showcasing gourmet coffee, speciality tea and artisan food, guests can also participate in an abundance of quirky and cool activities. We’ve picked some of the most inspiring workshops and demonstrations for you to attend – check them out below!

1) Latte Art Live

Latte Art Live is a brand new experimental feature coming to The London Coffee Festival this year. Guests can partake in 35 minute workshops learning the techniques and skills needed to create stunning latte art masterpieces with the opportunity to witness creations by champion latte artists.

2)  Coffee Meets Whiskey

Love coffee and alcohol? La Cimbali is offering 20 minute masterclasses where guests can explore and compare a range of coffee and whisky products, all served by guests roasters ready to educate on their unique flavour notes and qualities.

3) The Coffee Art Project

Are you an artist? The Coffee Art Project is an exciting art competition showcasing the creativity and talents of emerging and established artists, all of whom share a passion for coffee. Artists are invited to submit an original piece of art inspired by coffee or a ‘coffee shop experience’. The winning artist will receive a cash prize of £1,000!
