Urban Coterie – M by Montcalm
Urban Coterie offers a superb brunch, serving three dishes of your choice alongside unlimited mimosas… Yes please! It’s location on the 17th floor of the ‘M by Montcalm’, ensures you get a marvellous view of London’s beautiful skyline as a side order. With a menu featuring home-grown British ingredients, ranging from smoked salmon and scrambled duck eggs to lambs leg gnocchi, there’s enough variety for everyone. In contrast to the sharp edges of the building, the interior design adds a touch of softness, utilising traditional materials such as brass, timber and tan coloured leather.
Berners Tavern – London Edition Hotel
For an extravagant way to start the weekend, head to the Berners Tavern for brunch. The menu from Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton includes offerings that reflect the seasonal changes from confit ham hock hash browns to Moroccan fried eggs. Awarded GQ Best Restaurant of the Year 2015 and Elle Decoration Best British Interior 2014, the interior design is as impressive as the menu. The soaring Edwardian walls are adorned with gilt-framed art and ornate chandeliers hang from the ceiling, combining a British country-manor style with a contemporary city aesthetic.
Beany Green – Broadgate Circle
Beany Green is an Australian café serving a full à la carte bottomless brunch menu at the weekends. With upbeat Aussie vibes, this café serves healthy smoothies and fresh coffee as well as bottomless Proseccos and Mimosas. The menu includes a variety of offerings, from their famous banana bread sandwiches to broccoli and corn fritters served with avocado, egg and chilli pesto. The interior makes a cool, bold statement with bright pops of colour with bespoke pop art from artist Louise Dear. This bright little spot will have you feeling sunny and summery in no time.
