Some of London’s Best Food and Drink Festivals This July
Team Offbeat | 04 Jul

This July, London opens up its parks to embrace the essence of summer with al fresco eating and drinking. Celebrating all things culinary, here’s a look at some food and drink festivals to keep you entertained.

Spirit of Tiki, Cocktail Festival: 14th– 15th July, Regents Park

Founded by George Radav and Roger Barnes, Tiki is a laid back, tropical food and drink festival celebrating the vibrant Tiki culture of the South Pacific Islands. Centered around the regions favourite spirit – Rum, this festival serves up a range of unique and wonderful cocktails served by expert mixologists. Immerse yourself in full Polynesian style with delicious street food whilst enjoying art in the form of flowers, statues, hula dancing and music.

Blackheath Foodies Festival: 7th– 9th July 2017, Blackheath

The UK’s biggest food festival comes to Blackheath for a weekend full of vibrant food, refreshing cocktails and live music. There’ll be a live theatre with chefs and bakers cooking up signature recipes as well as an artisan food tent and a vintage tea tent to unwind in. If that’s not your thing, then there’s plenty more to do, relax with yoga in the park or get fired up and enter a chilli eating contest! This weekend is definitely expected to be a big hit with the whole family.

The Rosé Festival: 21st– 23rd July 2017, Geffrye Museum, Hoxton

The UK’s first rosé wine festival is due to launch this July for three days of culture and fun. There will be Shakespeare recitals and jazz bands as well as a vast variety of British street food… And yes, they’ll be plenty of rosé. Set in the idyllic Geffrye Museum gardens, the festival will see over thirty top rosé producers come together as well as operatic performances, jazz bands and DJ sets to keep you entertained. The £10- £15 ticket price will go towards the Geffrye Museum refurbishment, so all in aid of a good cause.
