Offbeat Creative: The Best of 2018
Team Offbeat | 04 Jan

As we welcome in the New Year, we recap and take a look back at some of our favourite projects of 2018. From name generation all the way through to fitout, Offbeat Creative have worked to bring a variety of unique concepts to life.

Candy Floss

Our first project of the year was an exciting dessert concept in Forest Gate. The design team generated a characterful and uplifting brand and interior design, inspired by an enchanted ‘candy floss forest’. A team of skilled craftsmen then brought the concept to fruition, resulting in a unique, well-loved and inviting shop.

Bangla Sweets

A Bangladeshi sweet shop in the heart of the East End. Established in 1998, Bangla Sweets had a loyal customer base but a tired visual identity. Our rebrand promotes the energetic and luxurious qualities of the brand, suggesting a friendly and established confectionery shop. The custom interior graphics create a unique, authentic and intriguing design.

SKVP

Our second design project for this chain of Indian street food restaurants. Established in 2010, SKVP is a well-loved, local favourite that aims to bring the authentic taste of Mumbai to London. Having already created a complete rebrand, the goal was to translate this new identity across to our clients Harrow site. The interior consists of warm woods, casual seating and playful wall graphics, suggestive of vibrant Mumbai culture.

Chalo

Currently a work in progress, Chalo is an Indian fusion, all-day dining concept based in Clapham Common. From name generation through to brand identity and interior design, the team developed a playful brand personality to suggest an energetic, youthful and social restaurant/bar. The logo consists of bespoke hand lettering and a unique colour palette whilst the interior is set to be a playful mix of custom artwork, textured materials, comfortable seating and moody lighting. Watch this space for the grand opening in 2019!

Havan

A retail and hospitality hybrid, this eco-boutique and coffee shop is a unique concept based in affluent Kensington High Street. Working on Havan’s creative identity, the brand design reflects a cool, chic, understated and ethically aware brand. With the build currently underway, the interior design is fresh and earthy, utilising bespoke, hand-made fittings, to reflect the brand’s socially responsible ethos. Stay tuned for the big reveal in 2019!
