Offbeat Creative Designs ‘Candy Floss Crêperie’
Team Offbeat | 16 May

From mega freakshakes to cotton candy crêpes, we share our latest design project, Candy Floss Crêperie – a dessert parlour based in Forest Gate, London.

The Brand

The ‘Candy Floss’ logo utilises a bubbly typeface in line with the brand’s playful personality and adopts a soft pastel pink to suggest the predominantly sweet offering. The logo is supported by a series of quirky icons (an ice-cream, candy floss and waffle) that appear on takeaway cups, bags and menus, introducing characterful detail.

The Interior Design

The charming brand identity translates across into the interior design which is inspired by an “enchanted forest” concept, fitting for an indulgent dessert parlour. The interior evokes a warm and inviting ambience, utilising soft lighting, natural woods and marble table tops. The brand pink and grey adorn the walls, whilst bespoke lighting fixtures incorporating green foliage and gold accents are present throughout. The woodland theme extends through to the custom-made counter fascia constructed from individual-crafted wooden, geometric hexagons.

The Offering

Specialising in sweet treats, Candy Floss offers an extensive menu of waffles, crêpes, freakshakes, cakes and gelato. If you don’t have much of a sweet tooth, fret not, the menu also offers savoury crêpes and ciabattas as well as artisan tea and coffee. We highly recommend the Crunchy Nutty Bubble Waffle, a combination of pistachio gelato, pecan nuts, Ferrero Rocher and Nutella – absolutely delicious!

Candy Floss dessert parlour is an enchanting and indulgent spot, perfect for the whole family!
