At Offbeat Creative, we are passionate about pizza! With this in mind, we have rounded up London’s newest pizza restaurants offering the freshest pizza in town!
Street Pizza
Gordon Ramsay has revamped the ground floor of his Bread Street Kitchen restaurant at One New Change, to accommodate for his latest offering, Street Pizza. Serving simple and delicious produce, you’ll get bottomless sourdough pizza served by the slice for just £15. With 5 toppings to choose from: Margherita, Pepperoni, Charred Aubergine, Corn and Chorizo and a daily special, there’s a flavour for everyone. If you need any more persuasion, cocktails start from just £6 and there’s a Negroni ice-cream machine!
Lebanese Bakery
All the way from Beirut, Lebanese Bakery is set to open in Covent Garden this May. Offering eat-in and takeaway, the restaurant will serve traditional Lebanese flatbreads known as ‘manousheh’. Similar to pizza and baked in an Arabic basalt rock oven, the popular snack is made from soft dough and topped with a combination of cheese, chopped tomatoes, meat, eggs and za’atar (a thyme and sesame herb blend). If you fancy a change from your typical Italian pizzeria, this place is worth a try.
Mamma Dough
Based in South East London, Mamma Dough has recently opened its fourth site in Ladywell. The artisan sourdough pizza is made using the finest locally-sourced ingredients and is complemented by craft ales and ginger beer brewed on site. The industrial interior comprises of striped-down wood and exposed brick, allowing the pizza to take centre stage. If you’re in need of a carb-load, Mamma Dough is definitely worth the trek to South East London.
As London’s love affair with pizza continues, maybe it’s time to get a ‘pizza the action’ and consider adding a slice or two to your restaurant offering? Who knows, you might just steal a ‘pizza our hearts’! OK, we’ll stop now.
