The bank holiday weekend sees the launch of a number of new and exciting London pop-up bars to kick start the summer season.
Brixton Beach
A Beach… in London?! That’s right, Brixton will be host to an urban beach opening May bank holiday weekend. Inspired by Cuba’s vibrant culture, Brixton Beach will come alive with street food including irresistible tacos from Del74 and frozen summer cocktails to enjoy whilst soaking up some rays. With a line-up of unmissable DJ’s, the beach will transport you to a tropical paradise keeping you entertained all night long.
Skylight
Covering 3 levels of a former carpark in Tobacco Dock, Skylight is a new rooftop bar based around the theme of a British lawn club. Along with unobstructed views of London’s striking skyline, there will be croquet and Pétangue (a form of boules) to add a bit of fun competition between friends on a warm summer’s evening. Alongside all the excitement, there’ll be a variety of street food available, as well as summer cocktails and pitchers served from multiple bars to quench your thirst.
Pergola on the Roof
Following its success last year, Pergola is back at its former home at the BBC Television Centre, as well as a brand new site at Paddington Central. This year, Pergola takes its inspiration from the East coast of the USA. There’ll be palm trees, decking and seafood to transport you to a sunshine-soaked iconic vision of Long Island and The Hamptons. Party day beds are available to reserve for large groups, so be sure not to miss out and reserve your spot in the sunshine. With so much happening this summer, we are exhausted just writing about it… someone pass us a mimosa!
